The Center for Mathematics and Society once again held Thesis Day VII on Saturday, October 28, 2026. The event, coordinated by Ms. Livia Owen along with the student committee, took place at the Lecture Theatre on the 9th floor of South PPAG 2. This activity consisted of two main sessions: thesis presentations from young alumni and the sharing of their internship experiences.

The alumni thesis presentation session, moderated by Mr. Robby and Mr. Robyn Irawan, featured seven graduates of the Mathematics Study Program from various areas of specialization. The presenters were:
Naura Azalia, S.Si. (Interdisciplinary Optimization and Dynamics with Data Analytics) with the title “Classification of Suspended Stocks using XGBoost and Weighted-XGBoost Methods”.
Wynona Aurelie, S.Si. (Actuarial Science) with the title “Analysis of Critical Illness Insurance Premiums Using a Multistate Model Based on Prevalence Rates”.
Jonathan Soelistyo, S.Si. (Interdisciplinary Optimization and Dynamics with Actuarial Science) with the title “Analysis of Insurance Premiums and Premium Reserves Using a Markov Model with SIRD Epidemiological Properties Considering Gender”.
Dhia Amyra Sylvia Husein, S.Si. (Actuarial Science) with the title “Designing Cyber Insurance Products for Influencers in Indonesia”.
Patrick Ulysses, S.Si. (Interdisciplinary Optimization and Dynamics with Data Analytics) with the title “Application of Bayesian Neural Network for Estimating the Basic Reproduction Number of the SEIR Model with Various Deterministic Approaches”.
Jason, S.Si. (Actuarial Science) with the title “Analysis of the Li-Lee Spatial-Temporal Model and Its Modification for Estimating Central Death Rate and Its Application to Life Insurance in Indonesia at the Provincial Level”.
Jeremy Mikha Andika Putra, S.Si. (Interdisciplinary Optimization and Dynamics with Actuarial Science) with the title “Determination of Insurance Premiums Using an Epidemiological Model Considering Infection Severity”.

In between the events, there was also an exhibition session featuring 15 research posters from students. The event was closed with the announcement of the 3 favorite posters based on voting results. The winners for the favorite posters were:
Dandel Rivaldo with the title “Application of Multimorbidity in Multi-state Modeling with the Hawkes Process”.
Nathanael Filio Enrico with the title “Analysis of the Application of Spatial Survival Model Based on Bayesian Inference Using Cox Proportional Hazard and Accelerated Failure Time on Deforestation Cases in Indonesia”.
Gabrielle Agneta with the title “Application of Evolutionary Game Theory to Decision Making in the World of Tourism”.
