Since 2023, the Center for Mathematics and Society has regularly organized an event called Thesis Day. Thesis Day is held at the end of each semester in the form of a full-day, in-person seminar, where selected undergraduate students from the Mathematics Study Program who have just completed their Thesis course present their theses, and selected students who have just completed their Seminar course present posters about their seminar topics. The main audience for this event is active undergraduate students of the Mathematics Study Program. The objectives of this event are to provide the student presenters and poster presenters with experience in scientific communication, to give junior students insight into various research topics in mathematics, to inspire and academically motivate them, and, in the long term, through the regular implementation of this event, to encourage student-lecturer research collaboration and gradually improve the quality of Seminar and Thesis courses. Since its third edition in February 2024, some of the student presenters in Thesis Day have been students who recently completed internships and the MBKM program, who also shared their experiences with younger students.
